Operation Beef Up....update!

This guy has something to tell you......
"I gained 2lbs. in a month!"

That's right! P-pie man now weighs in at a whopping(Ha!) 14.4lbs!!!! So it looks like Operation Beef Up is paying off! When we went for his checkup they didn't measure him but I know he's grown too b/c he can't fit in to some of his footie outfits anymore. The Doctor said he's doing great and we'll go back in 2 months for his regular 9 months checkup! YaY for P! We hope everyone has a great weekend! :) *New Post Below!*

Cabin Trip for the Weekend!

We went to the cabin for the weekend and Caroline, Rocky and Harrison joined us! It was lots of fun and we wish the weekend could've been longer! The weather was fantastic and we got to play outside with the boys and enjoy family/friend time! Josh and Robyn came up Saturday night to eat dinner with us and sadly I didn't get any pictures with them....maybe Caroline did...I'll have to check with her. Most of our time was spent watching Harrison! He is quite the entertainer! (Just like his parents!) We were also able to get pictures of the boys in matching outfits that Aunt Captain got them....pretty cute! I think Harrison thought Parker was a toy because he was either crawling over him, sitting in his lap or patting his head! That made for some fun pictures!!! I don't have all of my pictures downloaded...so I may add some here and there, but below are the majority!

7 Months and some more!

Parker is 7 months old! He is over half way to one year and that shocks me! When I was little I always felt like time went by so slowly....now time flies! Our little man makes us so happy! Each month keeps getting better and better with him! Sometimes I feel like my heart is going to bust because it's so full of love for him!! Okay, enough of my gooply gop talk. Next week Parker is going to the Doctor for his Operation Beef Up checkup and I will let you know stats then as far as weight and height go. Until then we have the monthly chair pictures! Some of the pictures are a little off center b/c I start laughing and talking to him when he gets excited...sorry! Also, he has food all over the top of his shirt, leftover from lunch, he told me he's saving it for a snack later! ;)

I will end this post with a few words and pictures about something that means a lot to me. This is a sad time for Auburn people right now. While a lot of people are not understanding what the big deal is about this unfortunate incident.....let me try and explain it to you. This is more than just a tree......this is tradition, pride, spirit etc. for Auburn University and above that it's a living thing on this earth that gives back to us in so many ways. For some people to not grasp that fact....makes me even more sad. At this point, all I can do is hope with all my heart that Auburn people will take the high road and not stoop to the level that this individual went to......nothing good can come from retaliation. From here we hold our heads up high and know that this will only makes us a stronger AU Family! Below are pictures of the glorious trees.....Rebecca took them today before the press conference. Over 130 years old and still beautiful! War Oak Eagle!!!!
