I will end this post with a few words and pictures about something that means a lot to me. This is a sad time for Auburn people right now. While a lot of people are not understanding what the big deal is about this unfortunate incident.....let me try and explain it to you. This is more than just a tree......this is tradition, pride, spirit etc. for Auburn University and above that it's a living thing on this earth that gives back to us in so many ways. For some people to not grasp that fact....makes me even more sad. At this point, all I can do is hope with all my heart that Auburn people will take the high road and not stoop to the level that this individual went to......nothing good can come from retaliation. From here we hold our heads up high and know that this will only makes us a stronger AU Family! Below are pictures of the glorious trees.....Rebecca took them today before the press conference. Over 130 years old and still beautiful! War Oak Eagle!!!!
