And We Have A Name!!

It has taken us a month to decide but we finally have a name! I am so excited and glad I can get down to business....monogramming! For some reason this time it was SOOOOO much harder to pick a name than it was with Parker. I felt pressure to really get it right...last time with Parker, I just knew that was his name. We were able to narrow it down to two choices pretty easily.(Like the day we found out it was a girl!) From there it was a lot of back and forth, I like this name but still like this name, does it sound right, will it fit the way she looks...blah blah blah! Well, I knew I didn't want to wait until she was born to name her and I couldn't possibly make this hard decision...so it was all up to Mark. He actually had the same trouble deciding as I did!! The names to decide between were: Allie Paige(double name) and Paige Asher(just go by Paige). Then Mark made it even more difficult and threw in a switcheroo...he said what about Asher Paige instead of Paige Asher!? I was like..."You're killing me smalls!" I didn't care either way, as long as he picked a name!! I kept giving him deadlines of when he had to pick a name and they passed. So yesterday I told him that a great birthday present for today would be a name for our baby girl!!(Today is my birthday and I'm the big 3-0! Whoa!) Anywho, Mark decided and now that I'm posting it on the blog it will be official! Kinda makes me nervous but here we go! Guess I've dragged this out long enough!!! Our sweet Miss Priss, Baby Girl, Sassy Pants will be named: Paige Asher!!!! Shwew!! There it is! She's been named! I've always liked the name Paige(which happens to be a family name...way up the family tree!) and Asher is my middle name! I also like saying Parker and Paige together! Brother and Sister...Parker and Paige! AND they will have the same initials!! Can't you just picture them in matching outfits with their matching monogram!?!? Oh yeah...I'm going to do it! Now, let the monogramming begin!!!!

On a side note, I would like to thank my friends for the sweet birthday wishes and for getting together this past Saturday night to have a surprise dinner for me! You guys are the best! I was totally surprised! Since I didn't know about it I didn't have my camera with me and only got these two pictures at the end of dinner after everyone left with Mark's phone. Dern! Just means we'll have to get together again right?!?!

Happy Halloween...Oh Bother!

Mister was Winnie the Pooh for Halloween this year! The costume was pretty cute, but I don't know if he was in love with it like I was! Smiles were not happening when the costume was on! We went over to Gigi and Hun's and met Natalie, Jesse and Ceci to take pictures and eat dinner. After we took pictures in the costumes the Mister turned back in to his normal self and started playing and having fun with Ceci. (Parker LOVES Ceci!) Below are pictures...

That's what our house will start to fill up with!! Yup...we're having a GirL! Last Thursday afternoon we went to the Doctor for our ultrasound and just like I thought...it was a girl!! I will no longer be out numbered in my house...the teams will be even! Mark says they will still all gang up on me though. ;) We'll see about that!
We have not set a name yet, but hopefully soon. I have already started brainstorming/daydreaming of her room! Oh and her closet already has a few clothes in it!! YaY!
Parker has no clue that in a few short months he will take on the role as big brother/baby sister protector!! I think he'll do a good job! Until we have a name and other baby girl updates, here are a couple pictures. They're kinda fuzzy...sorry!

15 Month Update!

So the mister went to the Doctor today for his 15 month checkup. Nothing eventful happened...he checked out a-okay! We still have a wee little guy on our hands. Here are his stats...weight: 19 lbs 11oz (3%) and height: 30.5 inches (50%). We can finally get in to our big boy carseat, but have to stay facing backwards. (Which is a new requirement anyways.)  Aww man!! Below is a picture of mister with Daddy...waiting to get his shots. Poor guy...I think he knows they're coming.

Race For A Cure 2011!

This past weekend we did the Race For A Cure and had a great time supporting an awesome cause!! Mark's mom is a Breast Cancer survivor and we are so thankful for that! We're hoping for a cure soon! The weather was perfect! I actually got hot. Parker had a few moments during the race where he manuvered himself out of his stroller in mid-walk! Yikes! But for the most part he did good and watched the people. LOTS of people! Here are pictures...
